The Directions on the web page are not 100% correct. To get to the Chisago Race take hwy 8 through lindstrom the public access is on hwy 8 just past the middle school on the left. The Public access shares the East entrance to the middle school.
Awards are at The Gallery Bar and Grill from the access head West on hwy 8 and turn left or head south at the Dairy Queen. Follow Chisago Lakes Golf Course signs. The Gallery is a couple miles south on the Right just past the high school.

A friend of mine was at the Chisago Lakes race and took some very nice pictures. He will sell the digital picture for $5/picture or 6 pictures for $20. Most of the pictures are of F1 or Open Champ. There are some kitty kat and IS120 photos as well.

We Fly Racing and I (Hal) really appreciate all of the help you gave our race team this last weekend when I had to work and could not be there. Cherie was touched by all of your support and encouragement, and her dad appreciated all of your mechanical help. You all know who you are. I'm proud to be part of this great organization and to have my sons know the thrill of victory and the agony of a broken crank. I'm also proud they've experienced good sportsmanship, great competition and the hi-fives of their friends as they come off the track. If I can ever return the favor, just ask. Thanks again. Hal

Just a quick reminder that the 2009 Year end awards sheets need to be turned in soon. A basket will be in Trish and Dave's trailer at the Forest Lake race so you may leave them in that or give it to Trish. I will leave a few blank one's if you forgot or never got one. This sheet is one per family. Hope to see you all in Forest Lake.

    Hi,

Don't forget to bring your helmet with you this weekend so you can participate in the 'Marti's Challenge Race'. Anyone that is 15 years old or older that has access to an Open Champ 120 legal sled can participate. The race will be held after the normal day of racing. We will try to run a few hot laps before the race, if time permits. The race will be on an oval so this old dog has a chance, the right turns nearly killed me last year. Do you have what it takes to 'go wide open and turn left'? We will have a traveling trophy for the winner.

    Remember - My motto

    'Drive fast, take chances!'
